Indications:
Colorectal Cancer:
+ Capecitabine is used as adjuvant treatment for patients with stage C Dukes colon cancer who have undergone complete resection of the primary tumor and treatment with fluoropyrimidine.
+ Capecitabine is indicated for the treatment of patients with metastatic colorectal cancer who are being treated with fluoropyrimidine.
Breast cancer
+ Capecitabine is indicated in combination with docetaxel in patients with metastatic breast cancer after failure of anthracycline treatment.
+ Capecitabine monotherapy is indicated for patients with metastatic breast cancer who are resistant to both paclitaxel and an anthracycline chemotherapy regimen or are resistant to paclitaxel and are not indicated for anthracycline treatment
