Indications:

Ceftriaxone is indicated for the treatment of severe infections caused by bacteria sensitive to ceftriaxone, as follows:
+ Lyme borreliosis (early - stage II and late _ stage III) in adults and children, including newborns from 15 days old.
+ Chancroid, typhoid, syphilis.
+ Sepsis, endocarditis, meningitis (including meningococcal meningitis prophylaxis but not for diseases caused by Listeria monocytogenes).
+ Abdominal infections such as: gastroenteritis, peritonitis, biliary tract and digestive tract infections.
+ Infections of bones, joints, skin, soft tissues and wounds.
+ Respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in adults,...
+ Infections in the kidneys, urinary tract - genitals (including gonorrhea and pyelonephritis).
+ Infections in the ear, nose and throat (acute otitis media)
+ Bacterial endocarditis.
+ Preventing infections during surgery and interventional endoscopy (such as vaginal or abdominal surgery).
+ Empirical treatment of fever with neutropenia
